p.66 reinforce vocabulary: types of clauses

Giorgio De Nova in un saggio " The Law which governs this Agreement is the Law of the Republic of Italy” illustra le problematiche del contratto alieno, contratto redatto e concluso in base a modelli di common law, ma che preveda l’applicazione della legge italiana e affronta il tema della clausole contrattuali.

http://judicium.it/news/ins_15_05_07/De%20nova%20Nuovi%20Saggi.html

Some definitions in English
Damages= refers to the amount of money that a plaintiff may be awarded in a lawsuit.
Parol evidence= is a rule that a contract is a complete document, and that therefore no other documents that contradict it may be used as evidence in a lawsuit. The best way to ensure this is to include an entire agreement clause (or a merger clause)

The parol evidence rule enacts a principle of the common law of contracts that presumes that a written contract embodies the complete agreement between the parties involved; the document is the sole repository of the terms of the contract (Jacobs v. Batavia & General Plantations Trust Ltd [1924] 1 Ch 287). The rule therefore generally forbids the introduction of extrinsic evidence (i.e., evidence of communications between the parties which is not contained in the language of the contract itself) which would add or change terms of a later written contract

Severability= means that somebody can sever (cut) something. In other words, if a contract is severable, it means that a breach of one part of the contract does not necessary entail a breach of the whole contract. The part that was breached can be ‘severed’ or separated.
Ancillary=documents /supporting documents
